This article on how to keep your black pets safe on Halloween focuses mainly on cats but I think its advice is applicable to dogs, too.

No doubt we will all see many cute photos of pups dressed up for Halloween.  How people get their dogs to stay still enough with a costume on to take a picture is beyond me.  Besides picking out the absolutely perfect costume, what else do you need to know about pets and Halloween?  Check here for some great info.
